Well, you know how holidays are and we join Buttercup here finishing her 4th carton of eggnog. As you know, Eggnog isn't the best for a lady dog's waistline.
Buttercup has taken up a rigorous exercise routine which involves many runs.....
..and some good weight lifting.
And, although the salad experience did not work out so well....
I am now happy to announce, Buttercup has redeemed her girlish figure and may once again wear her favorite coat. :)

Buttercup's Birthday!!
Well, the little pup is growing up, and just last Saturday (March 8 for you later readers) we celebrated her 6th birthday.
Here, my present was being modeled by an actual "Queen of Hearts"
Being as energetic as she is, Buttercup requested to play many games. There was the timeless classic, pin the snout to the dish, a time for dress-up, and a round of Monster Dog Attack!
But, what was perhaps the best part of the party was Buttercup and Pepper's "rocket" trip to the top of the closet, and their crash landing (pillows were underneath as a safety percaution)
And, even though she is 42 in dog years,
She will always retain a few puppy-like qualities.
